2010/11 St. Louis Blues
Changes abound in 2010 for the Blues management and players rosters. Davis Payne has been named the franchises 23rd Head Coach while Doug Armstrong replaces Larry Pleau and Dave Taylor became the new Director of Player Personnel. The Blues also added former NHL Goaltender Corey Hirsch as the new Goaltending Coach.
The team is already experiencing a rash of extended injuries. C Andy McDonald is out indefinitely since December 4th, LW T.J. Oshie is out until at least February after ankle surgery, D Roman Polak will be out until at least January after repairing a severed tendon in his right arm and LW David Perron has yet to skate after receiving a concussion on November 4th.
The team will attempt to get back into the playoffs after failing to make them last season.
